Using the Go Pro for wedding coverage

Today for the first time I am using a pair of Go Pro's for candid video footage.  Will report later my thoughts on the quality :)

NYC New York

Today we are filming and doing photographs on the beaches at the  Hamptons.  Beautiful wedding with a fun NYC couple.  Both grew up in the Bronyx and now live in work in downtown Manhattan NYC.  We did their first look in Central Park, then did some creative wedding photographs there.  Once we finished with the one on one wedding photos we took the limo to the Hamptons.  They had the beach dressed up with lovely white chairs and blue chair covers.  The wedding ceremony lasted only 30 minutes but was perfect.  We did more wedding photos on the beach and the bride actually got in the water with her dress.  Photos to follow this evening on our website. www.chrisbrock.co

Wedding in Miami Florida

Beautiful city of Miami Florida.  We are shooting wedding photographs and fiimimg their wedding. We are staying at the brides parents house in the Florida keys right near the bridge.  What a beautiful place.  The wedding is in downtown Miami and the reception is on the beach.  Photos to follow this evening on google plus and Facebook.

Engagement photography session at Summerour Studio in Atlanta

Today was a beautiful day for engagement photographs in Atlanta. 

 Summerour Studio is where we shot in midtown.  I used a pair of Arri 1k studio lights to add fill light while shooting outdoors with the buildings in the background.   This couples wedding is not until 2014 but they wanted to be on top of photos for their blog, invitations and save the dates :)   Here are a few examples from todays shoot :)

Up in Blu Ridge georgia

Family and I piled in our 3170ds Sunseeker and made our way all the way up to Blu Ridge in the north Georgia mountains.  We are at a simple campground to stay the night.  In the morning we have engagement photos scheduled all over this area :)

85mm 1.8prime by Canon

Being a seasoned wedding photographer I am in love with the 85mm 1.8 prime by Canon.  It's sharp as a tack and always on the money with focus.  I had the 1.2 85mm but sold it because it missed focus so often.  I honestly think the 85 1.8 is one of the best lens's canon has ever made.  Now I don't say this loosely, I own almost every L glass lens canon offers 

Ashton Gardens wedding today

It's 7:46am and I am waiting in the lobby of the Hampton Inn.   Early morning wedding today.   We are scheduled to start prep photos of the bride and her girls at 8:15am and then arrival at Ashton Gardens at 11am.  This will be a fun day with a beautiful wedding venue and a fun bride.  Wedding photos to follow on www.chrisbrock.org and facebook!
